Mycospor 10mg/gm Cream contains Bifonazole as its primary active ingredient. Bifonazole can be used to treat fungal infections. These infections may include:
Tinea pedis or athlete’s foot
Jock’s itch
Ringworm
This medication comes packaged in an opaque tube and is intended for external use only. Your doctor can also prescribe it for other conditions. Bifonazole works by inhibiting a protein known as ergosterol that is responsible for the synthesis of fungal cells in the fungus.

• Allergy to Medication: Do not use this medication if you have a known allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients.
• Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, this medication may not be safe for your unborn child. Please inform your doctor if you have any concerns about this.
• If you accidentally ingest it, seek emergency medical care.
• This medication takes about 2-4 weeks to show effect. Do not stop using Mycospor abruptly, as it can lead to the infection becoming more serious and stubborn.
• Keep the affected area dry. Wear loose-fitting cotton clothing when using this medication on the groin area.
• If you have it on your foot, consider wearing breathable shoes or sandals to keep your feet cool and dry.
Some of the most common side effects of using Mycospor 30gm tube are:
• Irritation and redness at the site of the application
• Itching
• Scaly or dry skin
• Burning
Some more serious but rare side effects that can be caused by the use of Mycospor 30gm tube are:
• A severe allergic reaction: breathing problems, wheezing, fever, general ill feeling, swollen lymph nodes, swelling on the face and mouth, trouble swallowing, tightness in the throat, itching, rashes, hives, nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, fainting, dizziness, stomach cramps, joint pain
• Wash your hands with soap before and after applying this medication.
• Squeeze the prescribed amount of cream into your hands and apply it to the affected area.
• Apply a thin film of Mycospor to the affected area and to the surrounding area of about a centimetre.
• Do not cover the affected area unless your doctor has asked you to do so.
• In case of a missed dose, apply Mycospor as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next application, you can safely ignore the missed dose and resume using it as usual.
