This treatment has an unusually rapid onset and is highly effective for treating actinic keratosis. I was initially worried to learn that it is precancerous, but after using it for about a week, I feel more at ease with the scabbing tissues and am glad it's doing its job.

I was prescribed Fluorouracil 5% cream after being diagnosed with superficial Basal Cell Carcinoma. I have been applying this cream all over my body regularly, and it has prevented the growth of cancerous cells in the skin, thereby improving my skin condition. The medication did not cause significant side effects other than skin redness and a slight burning sensation.
